Current Obsessions #1

You know, there are always a few of those things that I'm just crazy about. I decided I might do sort of a series where I'll post like five of my current favorite things. So here we go!

CURRENT OBSESSIONS...

1.) The colors blue and green. I love them. I have toooooo many blue and green things to wear. But how can I help it? They are my two favorite colors. I feel a need to branch out, and I do, but I still love good ol' blue and green. :)

2.) Facebook! It's pretty addicting, believe it or not. I love to look at friends' pictures and talk with family members that live far away. It's crazy how just looking at someone's pictures often makes you feel right there with them. I like to see pictures of my little cousin who's growing so quickly when I don't get to see him regularly. And I like the extra sense of connection. It's a way to talk to friends without having to call or text them!

3.) Susie Magazine. It's an awesome magazine. I used to get Brio, but they stopped publishing it... Susie Shellenberger (the former editor of Brio Magazine) started up a magazine pretty close to Brio! It's a good magazine for a Christian teen girl, it has a nice variety of articles that always keeps me interested. Another thing I love about Susie: they have what's called a Susie Online Sisterhood, and it's like a little private community for Christian girls worldwide. There is a nice forum section where girls can discuss a plethora (I love that word! Aren't you proud that I used it?!) of things, from beauty to relationships to anything! I enjoy going and connecting with other Christian girls.

4.) Shannon Kubiak Primicerio books. They are so good!! I've read her books in the past and I still love them! Some of her books include:

~The Divine Dance

~Being A Girl Who Leads: Becoming A Leader By Following Christ

~Being A Girl Who Serves

Check her out at her website. Her books continue to encourage and inspire me!

5.) Classic Disney movies. Honestly I've always loved these, and always will. I love Cinderella, Ariel, and of course all of the other Disney Princesses. And I enjoyed the other classic characters too, like all of the 101 Dalmations, Aladdin, and Buzz Lightyear. The movies are cute, funny, and also have little life lessons worked in there. Never a time has gone by where I haven't enjoyed a good, Disney classic!

Well that sure took me a while. But I'm sure I'll be back in a few weeks with more of my CURRENT OBSESSIONS! :)
