  2. Looks like a whole lot of fun!! I generally like to roller blade - rather than roller skate - except for the part that when you hit the ground, it hurts! That's one of the very few things that I HAVE learned from all of my roller-blading experiences... that no matter how you hit the ground... it is always extremely hard and it always hurts!!

I am an expert on falling while roller-blading!! I've tried a whole bunch of different surfaces - just to see if it made any difference! (It made a huge difference! Cement DOES cause more bruising to the shins than dirt - though gravel roads are a killer!)

I've even tried falling in different forms or positions - it doesn't change anything! :) But of course, I had to be the one to try. (I was really, really hoping that I would find a way to fall without getting hurt and then I would take my findings to some great university and make a million dollars!!! If you are a really good guesser, you might have figured out that my plan didn't go so well and I didn't exactly succeed... yet! Nope, the only way that I've found to 'succeed' is to either give yourself a shot of morphine right before the 'accident' or fall hard enough to slip into that blissful state of unconsciousness!! Except you tend to be more than a little sore when you bounce back to reality.) (To anyone reading this who doesn't know me and is thinking that I am absolutely insane - no I didn't actually try either of the two stated methods - this is just me rambling on for the fun of it as though I actually had...) :)

Also to those reading this who don't know me and are thinking I'm insane - if you think that my 'make-a-million-dollars-through-roller-blading-accidents-scheme' is outrageous... you should hear about my 'take-a-roll-of-toilet-paper-and-turn-it-into-flip-flops-and-eventually-make-a-million-dollars-scheme'! It's a REAL good one! (If you can't already tell, I've got my mind set on making a million dollars... he he he!) :)

Anywho.... It looks like you had fun!! (That was the whole moral of my comment - in case you couldn't figure it out. You know, I wonder if I might have some sort of case of ADD... oh look, a sparkly pencil. Oooo, the sparkles change colors!! ...... Sorry, what was I talking about?!)
