I think I know your reaction when you look at these grapefruits: EWWWW!!! Yes, I'm sure that's what a lot of people would assume from looking at the outside of these grapefruits. My mom had received these from a family member who had recently brought them from Florida. They sure looked disgusting on the outside, but we decided to open them up and see what they looked like. To our suprise, the grapefruits were a gorgeous pinky-red, and despite their nasty outer appearance, they tasted absolutely delicious! You know how we aren't supposed to judge a person by their appearance or a book by it's cover? I guess the same idea holds true for fruit--grapefruit in particular!! :)-----

Well, you may be able to say that the inside looks beautiful (as it very well may to a grapefruit-lover), but I think they look disgusting! I dislike everything about grapefruits with a passion!! I don't even like grapefruit-scented chapstik! The only 'grapefruity' thing I like would be... give me a second to think... still thinking... oh, I know... no never mind, that was cherry... sorry, not coming up with anything... well, this is getting old so I think I'm about to stop thinking... besides, I'm overworking my brain waaaay too much at the moment... I'll give it another minute... nope, nothing! I don't like anything grapefruity! But hey, more power to you if you are pro-grapefruit! You know, I think this might be one of the very few things we disagree on... huh, I'm going to have to journal about it. "Today I had a disagreement with Grace on her blog - it was about her love for grapefruits and my avid disgust!" he he he! Wow, we are soooo goofy! (And probably loony too!) :) Well, as that is all I have to say on the matter, I'll quit corrupting this lovely grapefruit post with my anti-grapefruit ways... :)
